Dr. Maciej Kawecki

 

Vice-rector for innovation and cooperation at WSB University in Warsaw, president of the Lem Institute. A graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, the University of Stockholm, and the University of J.W. Goethe in Frankfurt am Main. He graduated with honors from the European Academy of Diplomacy. From 2016 to 2017, he was an advisor to the Minister of Digitisation, and in 2017 he was entrusted with the task of coordinating the national reform of personal data protection in the Ministry of Digitisation in connection with the planned entry into force of the GDPR. Until August 2019, he was the director of the data management department at the Ministry of Digitisation and the council chairman for cooperation with churches and religious associations established by an order of the Minister of Digitization.  He was also a member of the Council of the Foundation of the Future Industry Platform. He was co-responsible for the implementation of the new personal data protection system into the Polish legal system. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where in 2016 he defended his doctoral thesis on the EU reform of personal data protection. In 2017, he was awarded a special award for his contribution to the reform of personal data protection in the Lawyers Leaders of Tomorrow competition of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Wolters Kluwer Publishing House. In 2018, he was 23rd in the ranking of the 50 most influential lawyers in Poland by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, in 2019 he was promoted to 15th position in the same ranking, becoming the "face of the GDPR in Poland"

Judyta Wolak 

Agile Leader from flesh and blood, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, a project manager who chose the product path to build and develop cloud platforms for a leader in trading and investment services, present in over 20 countries. With a good hand to people and experience in many industries, incl. fintech, electronic, lighting, and automotive. She created hardware and software products for clients from all over the world. Currently, in the IT infrastructure, she models business processes, analyzes needs, designs solutions and runs devops, delivery and enablement engineering teams. Program Manager and mentor of the TechLeaders 4-month mentoring program for women on behalf of Women in Technology, which aims to increase the participation of women in IT and stimulate their development in this field.

Kamil Musiał 

Lecturer at the WSB University in Wrocław, PhD student at the Wrocław University of Technology. Certified ISTQB tester. For 7 years he has been working as a software integration specialist at Nokia - initially in LTE technology, and for over 5 years in 5G technology. He constantly explores programming, telecommunications, network, and testing issues during his professional career. He also works as a trainer in various training projects. Fan of innovative solutions, optimization issues and technologies "from the inside". In his spare time, he walks in the mountains.

Stanisław Lota

Lecturer and manager of the IT department at the University of Lower Silesia, a graduate of the Wrocław University of Technology. Master of Computer Science Engineer with specialization in computer systems and networks. Owner of the Devillecloud IT company, certified Cisco CCNA and IoT Academy instructor, trainer and IT specialist in the SME sector, certified ISTQB FL software tester. A graduate of postgraduate studies in Android and iOS - modern mobile applications of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. For years he has worked as a freelancer or administrator for local companies. An avid user of equipment with the logo of a bitten apple. His interests include: virtualization of computer systems and networks, NoSQL databases, cloud computing, programming in Python, mobile applications in Swift for the iOS platform and computer games, as well as IT security.

dr hab. Aleksandra Przegalińska, prof. ALK

Professor at the Kozminski University, habilitated doctor in the field of management sciences. She obtained a doctorate in the field of the philosophy of artificial intelligence at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw. Currently, she is the vice-rector for international cooperation and ESR at Kozminski University. From 2016, she conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. A graduate of The New School for Social Research in New York, where she participated in research on identity in virtual reality, with particular emphasis on Second Life. Currently a Research Fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research. In 2021, it will start cooperation with the Labor and Worklife Program at Harvard. He is interested in the development of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, social robots and wearable technologies.
