The main objective of the project is the development of PM1 dust measurement technology (TECH_DUST_COM) in real time (determination of numerical and mass concentration and the share of ultrafine fraction) and as an added value, chemical composition of the PM1 fraction. The above mentioned goal will be achieved through the implementation of the R & D project concerned, including industrial research as well as development works, consisting of the following stages:

I. INDUSTRIAL TESTS
Stage 1. Construction of the PM1 dust measurement network model using measuring nodes and the Internet of Things
Stage 2. Construction of laboratory prototypes of IoT measurement network nodes PM1 dust using the Internet of Things.
Stage 3. Conducting preliminary tests for the suitability assessment of the developed prototype laboratory network node for measurements PM1 dust
Stage 4. Conducting initial tests of the suitability assessment of the developed prototype laboratory network node for measurement of PM1 dust concentrations with diverse chemical composition
Stage 5. Development of the smart action algorithm inference reason for the laboratory prototype of the IoT node of the PM1 dust measurement network
Stage 6. Performing preliminary measurements to determine the quality of PM1 measurements of selected IoT network nodes using the intelligent inference engine algorithm
Stage 7. Creation of modeling the PM1 measurement network using IoT nodes
Stage 8. Initial integration of the PM1 measurement network with a system based on intelligent engines inference of IoT nodes to develop the PM1 measurement system

II. DEVELOPMENT WORKS
Stage 1: Application of the developed IoT measurement system for PM1 of the Silesian Agglomeration
Stage 2: Application of the developed IoT measurement system for PM1 in the Tri-City Agglomeration
