Students can participate in the Erasmus+ student exchange program in one of WSB partner schools across Europe. While doing their study periods abroad students are exempted from tuition fee at WSB. Students also have the opportunity for doing a 3-month work placement in different companies located in Europe.

Erasmus+ provides the opportunity for:

  • studying in a partner school without having to pay tuition fees
  • obtaining a scholarship
  • participating in an internship programme
  • acquiring hands-on experience that is valued so much by prospective employers
  • studying in an international setting
  • improving foreign language skills
  • exploring the culture of a host country
  • making friends with students of different nationalities

To apply for the Erasmus programme students have to take part in the recruitment process which is conducted in November (internships) and March (studies) every year.

The recruitment process consists of two steps:

  • a foreign language test (written and oral)
  • an interview with the Vice-Dean
  • the grade average from the semester preceding the recruitment process is also taken into consideration (the higher the better)

The Erasmus scholarship is granted for one semester/one year if students decide to take up studies at one of the partner universities or three months if he/she wants to go abroad to do the internship.

Students taking part in Erasmus programme are exempted from paying a tuition fee at WSB for the semester/year they spend abroad. The receiving institution also does not charge any fees from students.

All students qualified for the Erasmus exchange have to sign an agreement with WSB that determines the rights and obligations of an outgoing student.

Students taking part in Erasmus exchange receive a grant for the time of their stay abroad. The grant does not fully cover living expenses in receiving countries. It only covers the difference between living costs in Poland and the countries students have chosen to go to.

Double degree program

In 2015 WSB Unievrsity in Poznan Faculty in Chorzow entered into partnership with the University of Bedfordshire, England. Thanks to this partnership our Bachelor’s degree students who major in Finance and Accounting or Management have an opportunity to study in their final year in England. Students are given entry to the University of Bedfordshire’s programs on the basis of ECTS points achieved at WSB. If they successfully complete the program they are awarded a Bachelor's with Honors degree. Thus students are able to obtain a double degree from the University of Bedfordshire and WSB. Faculty in Chorzów also cooperates with Matej Bel University in Slovakia (Banska Bystrica) in the area of dual awards for students of Master's Programmes in Management and Finances.
Soon dual award studies with other WSB partners  will be opened (the UK).
