Short descriptions of a few courses

Business Models
Selecting an appropriate business model makes it possible to maximize profit and efficiently use the company’s resources. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with, among others,  innovative business models and planning methods which help reduce a failure risk. You will learn how to implement and carry out logical and creative projects. You will be able to use practical tools to build such models.

Business Communication
Effective communications in professional situations is a key skill of a successful manager in the workplace. The objective of the course is to provide students with communication principles and tools which help the manager build authority and trust inside and outside of the company. You will learn how to use different communication channels for accomplishing business goals.

Financial Analysis
A good manager should be able to assess the financial situation of their organization. The aim of the course is to equip students with, among others, cost management methods and planning methods. You will learn to analyze basic financial reports, plan finances, and design investments given different types of risk.

Key Managerial Skills
A manager’s skills and qualifications are essential when it comes to the efficient realization of tasks. This, in turn, translates into a company’s success. The aim of the course is to provide the techniques that enable students to plan work and delegate authority. You will learn how to think in a strategic and business-oriented manner. The accomplishment of long-term and short-term goals involves coherent strategy that is based on the analysis of the business environment. Specialization in International Business

International Business Environment
The aim is to prepare students for analyzing a company’s situation and its international surroundings as regards managerial decisions on international markets. Upon completion of this course you will be able to analyze opportunities and threats connected with a social, cultural, economic, legal, and political setting. You will able to evaluate the consequences of these conditions for a company and will be able to make recommendations or take decisions. Practical knowledge will be linked to basic theories of corporate internationalization.

International Strategy and Business Operations
The aim is to prepare students for analyzing a company’s situation and its surroundings as regards managerial decisions on international markets. Upon completion of this course you will be able to recommend and take decisions as regards the internationalization of a company, will be able to select a good offer, international markets, and partners. You will be able to assess the conditions for and select the most appropriate form of entering a foreign market. You will also be able to select internationalization strategy for a particular company, will be able to adequately assess organizational support for the strategy.

Specialization in Entrepreneurship

Innovation Management
Contemporary organizations keep looking for new business ideas or growth opportunities. Each innovative concept involves appropriate assessment and adjustment of the best possible implementation methods. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with different innovation processes. You will learn how to develop organizational skills for absorbing, implementing and disseminating new technological, marketing and organizational solutions thanks to which the company will be able to grow and increase its profitability.

Mediations and Conflict Resolution
Everyone gets involved in conflicts, e.g. with lovers, friends, roommates, spouses, bosses, coworkers, merchants, police, neighbors.  People from different cultures have beliefs, customs, dress codes, religions, political orientations that may be quite different than your own. The objective of the course is to teach students peaceful conflict resolution skills that you will use constantly during the rest of your life.  You will learn to settle these conflicts peacefully and ideally with mutual understanding and respect.

Shaping Entrepreneurial Mindsets
Successful management calls for creative thinking, initiative and courage in the decision making process. Such features can be found in an entrepreneur. How to apply

The basic requirement that you are required to meet is appropriate proficiency in English. We require you hold a certificate of English at a Council of Europe B2 level at least. In case you do not hold an eligible certificate, you will be required to take an English test, on the basis of which WSB will take a decision on admission.
You are also required to submit a set of other documents (for details see below).
We enroll candidates  on a first-come first-served basis and until the enrollment limit for the chosen program is reached,  and no longer than the final admission date.

Step-by-step application process

Step 1
- download a personal details form and application form
- complete the personal details form (first name, last name, education, address of residence, telephone number, email etc.)
- once you complete the form send it to
- within 3 days on receipt of your email you will receive a reply from the Admissions Office confirming your registration. If you do not hold an eligible certificate of English you will be provided with the details on the English test qualification.

Step 2
- in the email from the Admissions Office you will find all the necessary attachments (completed questionnaire, proof of sufficient financial resources, parental consent form, Educational Service Contract, account number for tuition fee and admission fee payments, declaration of the project participant)
- print out the documents
- sign the questionnaire and application form
- complete and sign the proof of sufficient financial resources
- in case you are under 18 years of age you are required to have one of your parents complete and sign the parental consent form
- print out two copies of Educational Service Contract and sign each of them

Step 3
- once you accomplish Step 2 dispatch by post the documents listed below to the following address:

The required documents to be dispatched:
  - two signed copies of Educational Service Contract,
  - signed copies of the questionnaire and application form,
  - signed copy of the proof of sufficient financial resources,
  - parental consent form,
  - medical certificate (doctor’s statement) along with translation into Polish certifying that there are no medical reasons preventing the Candidate from pursuing the higher education program
  - photocopy of passport, the page with the holder’s photo
  - 2 passport photographs
  - Polish secondary school completion certificate, or an apostille of secondary school completion certificate with its translation into Polish
              - completed declaration of the project participant
  - proof of payment of 400 Polish zloty admission fee
- proof of payment of tuition fee for year 1 in the amount of PLN 1398

Step 4
- Upon receipt of the documents the Admissions Officer will confirm it and if need be will notify you by email of missing information or documents
- the Admissions Officer will send to your mailing address (the one provided in the questionnaire form) a letter of admission which is necessary for Polish visa

Step 5
- Upon receipt of visa you are required to send a photocopy of the visa and photocopy of insurance policy to

- upon arrival in Poland you are required to visit the Admissions Office where you will receive one copy of Educational Service Contract and proof of admission

Advantages for international students

  3. Scholarship that covers accommodation and living costs during the study period – EUR 200 per month over a 30-month study period
    30 x EUR 200 = EUR 6000 in total 
  4. Free-of-charge course of Polish over a 3-year study period – summer intensive courses of Polish  in the first year, second year and third year (60 contact hours x 3 years = 180h)
  5. Free-of-charge participation in Orientation Week – 5-day induction program full of events designed to ensure that newly-arrived international students are given all the information about studying and living in Poland (September 2017).
  6. Free-of-charge participation in a two-week Summer School of Cultural Adaptation (September2019) – comprehensive cultural program whose aim is to help international students to better get to know Poland. You will participate in sightseeing tours of Warsaw, Cracow/Gdańsk. The tours include visits to museums, galleries, exhibitions etc.

  2. Availability of English literature in the library, free access to online databases of journals from all over the world
