Founder
The Founder of the Schools of Banking is Higher Education Development Center TEB Akademia, which was set up in 2008 by TEB Education Corporation.
TEB Education Corporation is the largest private educational institution in Poland founded in 1994.
TEB Akademia and TEB Edukacja are parts of TEB Education Corporation (TEB SA)
In the academic year 2008/09 there were almost 50,000 students in all schools of TEB Education Corporation.
TEB Akademia’s mission is to be a professional partner in developing higher education institutions. It pursues a strategy of focused development of the WSB Group of Schools of Banking.
TEB Akademia specializes in consulting and advisory services in such areas as:
- management of higher education institutions,
- development strategies for higher education institutions,
- marketing of educational services,
- information systems,
- acquisition of EU funding,
- international academic cooperation.
TEB Akademia currently employs 70 staff throughout Poland and continues to grow dynamically. Its history dates back to the early 1990s, which were the pioneering years of non-state higher education in Poland.
TEB Edukacja established a network of post-secondary schools which offer certificates & non-academic degrees. There are 282 post-secondary schools in 50 cities and towns countrywide. Moreover TEB Edukacja established 6 secondary schools and a gymnasium.
